Priolo Gargallo (Sicilian: ''Priolu'') is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Syracuse, Sicily (Italy). It is about southeast of Palermo and about northwest of Syracuse. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 12,009 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The name Priolo Gargallo comes from the nobleman Marquis Gargallo who owned land in this part of Sicily.
